We create experiences: new programming for festivals, engagement events for large companies, pop-ups for libraries, unique exhibits at science centers, and project-based curricula for public schools. Together, we determine the correct scope and roll-out, starting with key questions: Is this entertainment, mostly about wonder, joy and spectacle? Or is this engagement deeply educational? Who is it for, what is it for, and why?

We started as teachers, lesson planners and artists, and it’s infused into everything we do. We bring over 30 years as educators to crafting and leading workshops, design sessions, and curriculum development—co-developing a high school media skills center pilot, leading the accreditation process for a college media department, running design processes that yield results for large public building projects. The Future Of is a speculative-fiction, human-centered design process in which we connect your mission to the moment—what you believe is for sale, and who your audience is—in order to imagine where you could be in five, ten, twenty years. We’ve worked with clients to dream big about the Future Of science centers, orchestras, libraries, and festivals.
